Scuba Diving Trips in the British Virgin Islands

Embark on an underwater adventure with Red Hook Dive Center aboard Bonus Time, a sleek 29′ World Cat based in St. Thomas, USVI. Dive into the crystal-clear waters of the British Virgin Islands, where the legendary RMS Rhone awaits, teeming with vibrant marine life and a haunting tale.

We offer public and private voyages to the British Virgin Islands tailored to offer you a personalized aquatic journey. Trips consist of two dives beginning with the RMS Rhone followed by a coral reef adventure.

The day concludes with a lunch and refreshment stop at one of the world-famous beach bars before snorkeling one more location. Private dive trips will have the option to add a 3rd dive for an additional fee.

Public Scuba Diving Trips to the BVIs

Cost: starting at $400 per person

Our public excursions are the perfect way to meet fellow divers and share the thrill of exploring the underwater wonders of the BVIs together. These group adventures include two dives in the morning, offering a glimpse of the aquatic marvels that make the area world-famous.

Post-dive, we’ll anchor at a renowned beach bar such as Soggy Dollar or Willy T, where you can relish a delicious lunch and cocktail with your feet in the sand, surrounded by the easygoing vibes of island life.

*Guests will pay an additional $80 customs fee imposed by the BVI government at check-in.

*Our dive staff works hard to ensure an enjoyable and safe diving experience with us! This trip will have a 20% automatic gratuity added to your method of payment on file. In total, the trip will cost $560 per person, which includes the cost of the trip, gratuity, and customs fees. Lunch or drinks purchased from restaurants are not included.

End Time

We will return to the USVI by 4:00 PM for customs check-in at the Cruz Bay Port Authority on St. John. Expect to return to St. Thomas by 4:30 PM.

Departs from Red Hook Dive Center

All BVI dive charters depart from Red Hook Dive Center in American Yacht Harbor on St. Thomas.

St. John Pick-Ups Available

Pick-ups are available for guests staying on St. John from the Cruz Bay Port Authority dock. This pick-up is subject to an additional fee from the Port Authority dockage fees.

Minimum Age Required

All certified divers must be 15 years of age due to depth restrictions at the RMS Rhone in the British Virgin Islands.

What’s Included

Full gear rental including BCD and regulator, tanks, weights, experienced Captain and dive leader, fuel usage, fruit, water, and cooler with ice.

What’s Not Included

Cost of food and drinks during our lunch stop, any additional snacks, drinks, or alcohol you may want on the boat for your day on the water. Nitrox tanks are available for an additional fee.

Valid Passport

Each passenger must bring a valid passport with us for the charter. In addition, everyone on the charter must upload their passport (within the confirmation email) at least 48 hours in advance of the trip. Failure to do so may result in long wait times, cancellation, or a USVI-only itinerary with a forfeiture of all BVI-related payments.
